Hi guys,
Having a bit of trouble finding the origins behind this glossy mewtwo.
Only place I could find it with a price is troll and toad and it says it’s a corocoro promo but I’m not too sure whether that is accurate. Can someone who is more knowledgeable shed some light on whether this is somewhat rare? Or if it has a ‘nickname’ that will make my google search more effective?

The CoroCoro version doesn’t have this artwork. This one is a slightly earlier release which was an insert in Pocket Monsters Fan Book in April 1997. Here’s one which sold for $50 back in May:
Looks like someone is trying to sell this exact card for $2,500: www.ebay.com/itm/273480810943. The card does appear to be quite scarce, but I don’t think its value has increased 50-fold in the last 5 months.
They all seem to suffer from the misalignment. You can pick them up in fairly good condition from Japanese auction sites pretty cheaply. Here’s one for the equivalent of $4.92: item.mercari.com/jp/m75314906204.
