Hey There :wave:
I feel like showing off my Collection + goals in this post.
I’m in the process of completing Master Sets from Wotc to Modern.

My defintion of Master Set is C/UC/R/H/RH/V+/Full Arts from the official set list. The specific promos for each era have their own binder too.

I already have them in binders color coded here:

Color / Era Breakdown:
9 Pocket Yellow (x2): WOTC Base Set Era.
12 Pocket Yellow: Legendary Collection.
9 Pocket Red: Gym Heroes/Challenge.
12 Pocket White: Neo Era.
9 Pocket Purple: Southern Islands, Rumble, Nintendo Promo, Pop Series.
12 Pocket Purple (x3): eReader Era.
12 Pocket Pink (x8): EX Era.
12 Pocket Grey (x4): D&P Era.
12 Pocket Black (x2): Plat Era.
12 Pocket Teal (x3): HGSS Era.
12 Pocket Orange (x6): B&W Era.
12 Pocket Green: Fast Food Promos.

For my binders I use BCW Z-Folio LX & for my sleeves I use Ultra Pro Clear for all C/UC and Ultra Pro Matte Black for Reverse Holo → Full Arts.

I know my goals are stupid high and I probably won’t ever complete them in my lifetime but I am enjoying the journey in collecting :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I don’t have a set plan on purchasing cards other than finding a deal / having some extra spending cash haha.

Besides applauding you for your already very impressive collection I think you have a very good mindset as well, which I feel goes a long way in this hobby, regardless of the end outcome. Thanks a lot for sharing your collection.

Whoop whoop! Another master set collector! Love the colour coded binders - my big mistake was using all the same colour. Will hit you up on IG as I may have a few spares that you need :slight_smile: looking forward to watching your journey!

Completing any master set requires lots and lots of dedication, time, effort and money. Especially sets like 151 with multiple variants (eg; non-holo, holo, rev holo pokeball, rev masterball, etc). I could never do that as I’ve got other hobbies too, so I just collect the top 1 or 2 chase cards which I like.

Great goal ! I once attempted the same but ultimately stopped doing it because of financial reasons. I still have many of my completed or almost completed master sets.

If you are interested in buying any Ex Era 90%+ completed master sets then feel free to dm me. Those include the reverse holos.
