The German Micky Maus issue No. 29, released on July 13, 2000, included a 32-card Pokémon playing cards set as an appendix. The uncut sheet was wrapped around the comic magazine itself, and readers had to punch out or cut out the cards to create a deck of mini playing cards.
The backs of the cards were simple, featuring grey Pokéballs as well as the copyright and trademark information printed in black.

Back then where you had to cut the cards yourself. Magazines like that were full of toys you had to assemble yourself. Some were pretty exciting, others not so much. The example above is one of the former. Thank you for sharing.
