[majesticxsloth]

English cards that were released in Japan. Are there any I am missing from the WOTC era?

Meowth Promo #10 - JR Stamp Rally
Eevee Promo #11- JR Stamp Rally
Mewtwo Promo #12 - JR Stamp Rally
Pikachu Shadowless - CD Promo
Mew Promo #8 - GOTTA Magazine

Edit: Thanks for all of the input! I am moving the rest up here.

Pikachu Promo #1 - CoroCoro
Mewtwo Promo #3 - Kanzenban (Japanese VHS)
Jigglypuff Promo #7 - CoroCoro
Ancient Mew - Ancient Mew II (cosmos)

Not exactly ‘wotc era’ but thought I’d post them anyway

Thanks for sharing! I was looking for wotc cards that were also printed in Japan, so this is perfect. I am just more into vintage than modern.

Apart from the two already mentioned above, the WB #3 Mewtwo from the Japanese VHS is missing (lighter color and thinner Japanese card stock, like the Base Set Pikachu and other Mewtwo):

MEWTWO WB Gold Stamp Movie Promo Japanese Ver

This card was distributed at the USA movie theater, but did you know that the Japanese version exists? [image] This Japanese version of this card came with the VHS. [image][image] This card has different paper quality. The USA version has unevenness on its surface, and the Japanese version is flat. [image] [image] [image] Pikachu of CD promo and paper quality are similar. [image] This Pikachu is written in Japanese in the corner of the uncut sheet. I think this Pikachu is a thing man…

Interesting! I had no idea about this one. I think I found a couple examples for sale. One would think that mewtwo would be easier to find since it came with the vhs.

There’s a jumbo base set charizard from corocoro.

Thanks everyone who provided input! My binder collection is now complete for the Japanese releases. I added ancient mew to the mix since it seems to fit the criteria I was going for and completes the page. I think Mew II cosmos is the best fit for the Japan side. I haven’t seen these all in once place, so I figured I would add them all here for future reference.

What a cool binder page! I agree that Ancient Mew is a good addition.
