Was your process for remembering this generation the same as what you posted in the Gen 1 thread?

Mostly yeah. I first did them in order until Crobat. But then indeed tried to remember all the Pokémon from the first Johto anime opening (one of my favorites), I actually looked it up after I posted my comment above. 
(Here it is in case anyone else wants to feel nostalgic.) And also the second, third, and fourth movies of course. Although tbh, mostly the second and fourth, otherwise I would have defintely had Aipom from the opening scene. 
But this time I remembered a lot more from the TCG sets than the anime tbh. I tried to remember the collection of my youth for Neo Genesis through Neo Destiny, type by type.
