It really is the difference though! Latias looks like a sharp fighter plane and Latios just looks limp.

i think both of you are right and wrong. they deserve to be in the same tier bc they feel like they’re two sides of the same coin, but they do have a lot of noticeable differences to separate them aside from just the colors

This might be better in the unpopular opinions thread but I don’t like that they doubled gimmicks with gold star & delta species for mew and gyarados.
I think this gyarados illustration would look even better against a blue background.
If someone has photoshop skills…
