It did sell, but 130point is not a reliable tool to see if something was paid for. I recommend using eBay’s research tool (Terapeak) in the app
people do see how many of these cards are listed right haha
Oh! Awesome! I didn’t realize that it was free to use now, thanks. ![]()
Is this the first English psa 9 gold star rayquaza for auction in 2025 ?
What do we all think this may reach ?

I’ll split my chips between $59K and $121K.
maybe but there have been two cgc "10"s that have sold around 20k earlier in the year
Unfortunately earlier in the year may as well be 20 years ago.
That mudkip CGC 10 sold a few months ago on zng for 4k and just sold yesterday for 14 also on zng
Guess…$25k-$30k I think one sold earlier this month 2 cert for 22k?
30k for the 9 ray, and i think the psa 10 ray would go over 150k if it went for auction
I think the most 23k if it hits 30k and gets paid … holy that would be crazy
This is the Ray that was lost in the mail from mewtuw ![]()
Forgive me I don’t know this history on this. What happened ? Is there a link to a story through here ? Is this a stolen ray ???
It’s an extremely sad story: FedEx Shipping - Possible Lost PWCC Vault Shipment
Oh this is sad
So if I got all the info right FedEx paid compensation to the owner of the lost package with this ray included in said package, then they found the package and sold the items in it since it was a package / case that was compensated/closed.
So now the owner of this slab that has a sad history is selling it through Z&G ?
Did I get this all right?
A psa 10 gold star rayquaza at 150k is the equivalent of the ~120k psa 10 neo genesis lugia of 2020.
Gotta ask yourself why is the Rayquaza different this time around
Well to be fair to Rayquaza that card is way better. Lugia is only a good card in the top grade whereas even 7 Rayquaza are worth like 10k now.
Plus the supply is night and day. I suspect it’ll retrace but the two cards get compared a lot and imo they’re not even remotely comparable
Some data to add to this tracker. Recently picked up binders of about 3000 cards. Mentioning this because it clouds the data. Total cost was about 400 USD. Included were a base set charizard, and a mint Shining Kabutops.
Tbh I’m not too sure what happened afterwards but the owner of the cards never got compensated a penny for cards that today are likely worth $300k. This Ray is one of them
Damn this one hurt to read really sorry for the guy ![]()
