Don’t see horizontal double swirls often, and this one’s on Shining Gyarados, no less! Great card!

Seems Neo Revelation has horizontal double swirls, which is really odd. The only ones I’ve seen have been horizontal.

Yes, the foreign cards have a similar opaque layer that double holos have
Could someone take a look at this Lugia I picked up? The first page of this thread doesn’t mention double swirls on the Neo Lugia, but it looks like mine has them.

the refreshed cosmos pattern in gen 4 that last part way into gen 5 allows for this sort of thing to happen more easily. But still, very very cool one. Its really like it threaded the needle on placement.

I was going to post about these when I had another card come in, but I recently noticed these close, offset 1.5 swirl cards, with the weld line almost near the bottom (seems to be in similar postion on cards from different sets) and cutting through a swirl pattern. It seems like this must’ve been some set way of connecting two sheets that spanned a few different sets.
Here’s a picture of a Light Azumarill I have yet to receive. And I have the same pattern for a Jumpluff from Neo Genesis at home.

Have the Light Azumarill now. The pattern on the Azumarill and the Jumpluff look to be the exact same as the one on the Scizor (look at the circles that are cut off right at the weld line). Don’t know if this means Light Azumarill might have double swirls that exist. I looked through Ebay listings and only found ones that had the same low-lying weld line.
If anyone cares to collect 1.5 swirl cards, it seems that they might exist for Neo Genesis, Discovery, and Destiny

Had a walk to a small local hobby shop after work and picked up a few cards from their small binder.
This Call of Legends Groudon being one of them for £4 after I noticed it had 3 swirls!

Nice! The card looks great in hand for sure, since the image does not do it justice. Swirls are a bonus as always.
