These gold Embossed Foils are called “Goldies.” Little nickname other collectors have dubbed them. It’s my theory they come from Korea. Not 100% though. If there’s an English Goldie there’s typically a Korean version of it too.
2x2 inch lenticular card. Flimsy and oddly soft compared to action flipz, but I had to have this one
Glorious. Most of them actually look fine
Then there’s Smoochum, Delibird, and Celebi.
While looking at Korean Ddakji, I came across this:
(Labeled as a “rubber ddakji pack”.)

I’ve seen several of the fake Peru cards on eBay lately. There is clearly a market for some new Topps/Topps Chrome style cards.
I also found this video talking some about them:
There are so many being listed that I had to update my saved search on ebay to “topps pokemon -peru”
They do have some good looking designs. Reminds me of DBZ cards
Curiously, CGC grades the ones below. It seems these specifically might be legitimate, although I don’t know much about these specifically.
No way the togetic and umbreon are authentic with the way they portray type. Cgc has to be lacking again.
The Flash Editorial ones seem bootleg.
Flash Editorial is behind the red-lined stickers with Charizard and Pikachu, and it seems they also produce these wacky Pikachu × Marvel crossovers, which I’m guessing Nintendo would never allow.
Here is the back of the red-lined stickers, with their logo:
Here is the front of one of the Marvel crossovers.

You can see the matching logo on the top left of the Marvel cards and the back of the red-lined cards:
So it does seem that CGC is once again grading bootlegs.
Edit: from this YouTube card opening, we can see that cards included with the red-lined border also include weird Pokemon-card-like cards that seem bootleg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HXsLeVBCAg

Edit 2: And we know that it’s the same company because the same Facebook page also advertises the red-lined cards: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=698356936235610&set=pb.100081839293952.-2207520000
Even the name SEREBII is wild work
, I think they used romanized names straight out of Japanese. So funny
Seeing this feels perverted. ![]()
I don’t know why, but it evokes strong feelings of aversion

me trying to explain to my grandchildren how the Japan-Peru War started.
Don’t talk to me or my 300 HP, 5 retreat cost, wrong font, wrong spacing son ever again.
Do they even make bootlegs like these anymore?? It’s had a good life with me on the playground as a kid lmao
