Hey all - are there a set number of Holos per box in these sets or is it completely random? Considering cracking a box or two. Thanks in advance!

1/3 chance so you can expect 12 holos in a box but it is not guaranteed.

Could be 12 but not guaranteed. Could be 11 or 13 also
Which set do you want to open? If you open a box, you’re going to lose money (if your end goal is trying make money off it)
But if you are itching to open a wotc box and maybe havent before, there’s a certain value on the actual experience that should be factored in. Iv only opened up one wotc box and it was a fun ass time, my favorite few days of the hobby. If you can afford it and really want to open one up, go for it
Judging by ZnG’s spreadsheets, Jungle 1st ed has the best EV at the moment for early WOTC

Yeah the expected value right now is really bad, plus there will always be demand for sealed product as youtubers can make more streaming, pack selling, and making ad revenue. So from a financial side, opening any old box is not worth it imo. But for a fun side… that’s another story
