I am also wondering about this. I thought I liked Rayquaza as a concept… It has a lot of elements I think would make a cool pokemon, but the art isn’t that great on many of these cards! 
Like @lyleberr and @kromaticlanturn said, the perspective matters a lot and the frame of the art on the card doesn’t always seem to capture Rayquaza very well which is a shame.

It may have been because 3DCG is commonly used in card gimmicks (ex, EX, GX, V, ex), and Rayquaza being one of TPC’s favourite picks as a set chase gets lumped in. It has fewer chances as a regular holo where most of the handdrawn illustrations reside (before special art became a thing)

I definitely think perspective plays a part! At least for me, Rayquaza can look like a toothless old man from the wrong angle.

This made it a bit easier to recognise which card is which but i think the best solution would simply be to individually number them

to be clear, do you mean “1, 2, 3, 4, etc” or do you mean card number (like at the bottom right)
Just each photo having card name with a running number and then a list of them in voting section, no need to have any groups to separate different cards since numbering does the trick. In fact i think the groups would make it more difficult to recognise which card is which instead just separated single photos with a number and name attached to it, kinda like the umbreon results thread

alright i think this is an acceptable compromise. I just don’t want to do the set number bc then i’d have to mention both japanese and english at a minimum.
