That’s pretty awesome. I think I like that card better as well. Kind of funny how these are basically just an advertisement lol.
Only thing with the FFTCG is I wish they had 1st editions. The only thing they have close to that is the “Wave 1” cards, which some are easy to identify, like the Cloud and Squall among others, but there are a lot that can only be differentiated by the slight difference in foiling I think. Thankfully Cloud’s is easy to differentiate. Managed to pick one of those up in Wave 1. I’ll post up my collection once I receive some of the cards I ordered recently. Definitely noticed a lot of hype for the FFVII cards since the Remake’s release.

These are all the rarest/scarcest/coolest cards I own. Cloud is my favorite character, I think the A-001 (BGS graded card) or the 1-182L (bottom row, second from the left) are my favorite. The Zack promo (bottom left) is also really cool to me. There’s no first edition, but the first set (Opus I) had something similar to shadowless in Pokemon where the layout was different in the first print run, referred to as Wave 1. Barret is one of my favorites. Also Vincent is sick I loved unlocking him and fighting the boss and having to stall him with the Chocabo move! Also I remember the epic music great times! I can’t wait to play the game again and sick cards! They had all the most epic boss battles in FF7
The A-002 promo just sold on eBay for $3750! This thing was sitting there for so long, I was wondering if anyone was gonna buy it! I think that’s the biggest sale for a single card in FFTCG so far.
Wow, yes! I have seen people trying to sell black labels for A-001 but no sales for it yet. A-002 (although I don’t care for it) is probably the peak for FF TCG because of low production.
Nice collection! I just started playing the FF7 remake. I plan on buying the complete Opus 1 set, I like a lot of the cards. I also will be collecting FF Tactics cards as well.
@teamrocketop How’s the remake compared to the original? I didn’t know it was already out hopefully i can order it for ps4 this week. Also seems like we have similar tastes. Do you happen to be a Diablo fan as well?
Of course the gameplay, no more turn base. More like a Ninja Gaiden but you can only use different characters in battle. I’m rusty, trying to remember the original while still playing the remake. Graphics are amazing, worth every penny. The GFs/Summons like Ifrit are definitely different as you can control their abilities in battle.
Thank you dear lord baby jesus haha I know graphics weren’t the best back then but they clearing could have and should have never did the main character like that. I mean if you look at the original art he can’t even grip his sword
