I only dabbed into the collecting side and I doubt it will go anywhere but I really like the cards. I wish PSA graded them at the time but only BGS graded them and they were not able to grade all of them:

Awesome. I’m hoping to collect some more of these too. Got some Wave 1 Opus I cards, but want to get some of the full art promos. Are you only collecting Cloud?

I really like the look of the FF tcg. I have a few boxes of Opus 1-5, but still haven’t opened them to see what’s inside.

Yes for now, the only other cards I may get in the future are all the Final Fantasy Tactics cards.
Beautiful cards! First time I’ve ever seen a final fantasy card. I played Tactics and Final fantasy 7 and 10 like crazy. Tactics and 7 are my favorites! I loved riding my gold chocabo all over the map. The Knights of the Round Table move was so Op almost too Op and took ages to go thru all the cinematics. I beat 10 at one point but got stuck halfway on my second play through

Of course I just hope the only major changes are fixing clouds pig arms and some graphics. Don’t change materia or anything of the sort

I think some gaming industries are having a tough time on the remake/remaster for true fans. I don’t mind when they try and do something different but don’t call it by the same name. Example, I love the Resident Evil Series. They did a HD remaster of the first one that enhanced graphics and framing which fans really enjoyed. Resident Evil 2 was pretty good as well but they added some content and changed some things which I did not mind. Resident Evil 3, I hear different things but havn’t played it but I did hear that it isn’t really close to the original but has the exact same name.
FF7 Remake said it is out now, I am going to download the demo from the website. It is on PS4.ffvii-remake.square-enix-games.com/en-us
Gotcha. And is it just me or why can’t I seem to get into or enjoy any other final fantasy games besides tactics 7 and 10. 10x or whatever they called it was trash. Older ones like 8 seemed really bad. Again I stopped close to the beginning. Played maybe a few hours of a lot of final fantasy games and just lost interest. And when the boss invades the ship on final fantasy 10 how do you beat him? I couldn’t get it done my second play through
I really like the chase cards and dislike (most of the) bulk. So much so that I haven’t decided whether I’ll be opening up some boxes or sell them.

Right, I really liked all those. Though I do have a special spot in my heart for FF8. The story and compositions for this game were amazing. I havn’t played 10 in awhile and honestly don’t remember lol

They arn’t really worth much other than the one all the way in the left not graded by BGS. Cloud A-001. They have certain promos that are worth a lot. The most expensive one in the TCG because it was only handed out at a tournament I believe is this one:

Is that one you own? I know someone who would literally kill for this card. I’m on a FFTCG marketplace group on facebook and this is like the most coveted card currently. This one guy one there has been asking around for this for forever lol.

@xxchancexx , I think I may have the only copy signed by Tarou Kageyama, the creator of FFTCG. I like the Cloud card better than the A-002 even though it has lower distribution.

Instead of reprinting a handful of cards Square Enix decided to reprint the first 4 or 5 sets at one point

I grabbed a few I’m gonna grade in the future. FFVII: Remake really sparked my interest in the cards.
Also, card quality is amazing.
