FedEx is holding up my Pokemon TCG package from Japan?

I live in the USA. A Japanese contact (good seller I’ve known for awhile) is shipping some Pokemon TCG items to me. Nothing crazy but the total value of the items is a few thousand (under $5,000).

I have gotten FedEx packages from this contact several times but this time, FedEx has this message on the tracking page. Has anyone dealt with this before?

For what it’s worth, some of the items are for business and some of it is for my own collection.

You can call Fedex Support, give them the tracking number, and they’ll give you the contact info for the representative that’s handling your case. You’ll need to fill out a CF5106 form required by the DHS which Fedex will then forward to customs in order to process your shipment.

Yep! Anything over $2k in declared value these days and FedEx is collecting importing/processing fees on it (normally $35 and up in my experience)

That happened to me recently on some eevee heroes boxes. I just had to email a description of what it was and they released it from customs a couple days later.
