Faking Crimped Pokemon Cards

Worth a watch for anyone who collects error Pokemon cards. I’ve actually been wondering about this for a while and also counting crimp bumps on cards that “seemed” more than likely real. Lots of good info in this video:

Very unfortunate they can also be faked while still in the clear cellophane promo packs. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Lot of good info here. Unfortunate that people want to ruin some good fun, but where theres a premium there will be people trying to game the system. Thanks for sharing. :slight_smile:

Interesting video.
I always wondered about this, I have lazily collected sealed crimps assuming it would be much harder to fake but now ill be more cautious.

I suspect they are using these for resealed or fake packs also. I’m curious if packs require heat or if the gear is sufficient.
