Fake graded charizord - watch out!

Just 2 months prior he posted in another pokemon reddit thread that he found an old Charizard that was NOT a 1st edition, in essence proving his subsequent story of “finding” the card is false.

Am I the only one who wouldn’t consider this a proxy at all? To me, it’s just a fake/bootleg/forgery. “Proxy” is a card that can be used or hold the place of, but are not intended to be passed-off as the genuine article. Like, “I need 3 Zards for a kitchen table deck, but I’m not ballzy enough to play with real ones…” = Proxy. No?

I’m learning about cryptography and checking out blockchain on the side, ATM, I’m really interested in how this could be applied to graded collectibles. Like other commodities.
