Not to get to far off-topic here; but I recently sold my PSA 8 1st Ed. Base Set Charizard for $2,800.00. I listed the card on eBay for $3,000.00 OBO and it was sold within 24 Hrs. So, I would definitely say that the price-point is still hovering around $2,750.00 and $3,000.00 - and hopefully won’t be climbing anytime soon (until I am able to re-buy that card) LOL

First of all:
If you have nothing constructive to say, just don’t respond to the topic. Even if this guy only buys it to resell it years later, who cares?
If I buy a car and I want to drive a new one 3 years later will you go bitching about it aswell?
The more money is in the systen of Pokemon, the more liquidity it will provide which is better for most of us.
As for choice of boxes, I really love the artwork and colours on expedition base. I would even say it is one of my favorite boosterboxes. If I were to buy a box, viewing it from an investing side I would choose the FRLG box (or multiples of them). I think in terms of value for money and long term asset it will yield a better return.
