I think they are really undervalued. Limited quanitity total and low pop for PSA. I’ve been following the cards for a year now and you see more raw versions than ever and those are probably 7s at best.

As much as I like evolutions and think it’s a great set and only have 1 box lol, I am with you. I will be more than happy to cash out at that price and move it into something I appreciate more. If the look of modern boxes was so damn ugly I would feel differently. I’ll probably just buy one of each ETB as a replacement.
With how many boxes are out there, I do not know how high it will get eventually but I think it won’t drop. A reprint will def drop the price but it won’t be permanent. Look at Ultra Prism. It was around $300 a box for a while when the reprints hit the market. It dropped the prices below $200 but in less than a year, the boxes have already jumped back up and are $350 now. I dont think Evo will go back low unless pokemon dies or we enter another depression.

So wild so see evolutions prices doing this. I got a box about a year ago for $94, just something to do during lockdown. I had considered getting a couple extra to hold onto just for fun, never thought this would happen lol.

Bought a large number of evolutions cases back in early january for $3k each… very happy with that decision

Yeah… I was looking at picking up a couple of them and man, the price has skyrocketed. Nostalgia at its finest.

Its probably more likely that Smprattes videos are bringing people to e four. And the almighty YouTube algorithm is bringing people to smprattes videos.
At least, thats how i found this forum - are there other ways people find e four?
My journey was:
- Ignore Pokemon cards after childhood → logan paul box break viral video → my cards are worth how much!?
- Leonhart/Pokerev/Poke Randolph/Twicebakedjake/Zngemporium/Smpratte channel that the almighty Youtube algorithm recommends that offer a variety of views into Pokemon
- Smpratte briefly mentioned e4 forum about collecting cards, lets check it out
- Buy Evolutions booster boxes in the Fall as a small investment cause I can’t afford WOTC boxes
- Evolutions box price goes bananas
- Talk and troll in this thread with other Evolutions believers/non-believers
