I wanted to chime in that if the packs are loose and not just blisters, then someone could have opened packs out of their box until they found the chase card and then sell the rest. The chances of pulling a second chase card from that box are so significantly lower.
Buy them all and sell them to your buddies for 6$ each
YOull be doing them a favor and make enough money for a free hamburger

Are people forgetting that Kanto Powers are coming out at the end of this month? Pre-orders are sold out so expect a huge wave of people coming into ebay to flip for profits. There will be even more Evo items up for sale with the search keywords “Booster Box”. People who want to open up packs for zards will end up turning to those instead of booster boxes based on “per price per booster pack” being lower than what the current booster boxes are going for.

Anyone that bought a sold out Kanto Powers box on pre order to flip is going to sell the box for at least current pack price x (10) packs… there will not be any price/pack deals there.
Or they will break them open and sell 36 loose packs for the going price.
Neither of those will affect what people are willing to pay for a sealed box.

How rare are Charizards in the boxes?
That question was the reason I started this thread… surely pulling a couple PSA 8-9 Charizards from a case is likely?
If you watch a few breaks on youtube and to get a feeling for real pulls.
I’ve cracked about 5 boxes and gotten at least 2 zards (holo, reverse, full art, mega etc.) from every box. Probably some luck, but zards are pretty common.
Charizards overvalued or boxes undervalued?
I don’t know. My gut tells me these charizards are wayyy overvalued when you consider how much product is out there, but idk, this set is super popular. I don’t think these prices make sense at all, but i guess the market does right now lol.
Only reason the charizards are doing well is because of how bad print quality was on the holos. All the cuts were rough as so pretty hard to get a 10. But as for 9s being that high that’s still abit confusing 
People thinking EVO boxes are high but I just opened 2 boxes worth of loose packs and the EV on these is wayyyy positive lol. Look at the secret rares and the reverse holo pika and charmander.
I have no idea what is going on this year EVO or not.

Well my LGS just called me and told me that they had to cut my preorder of 6 Kanto Powers Collections down to 1. I’m a little salty because I ordered them back when they were announced aka before the recent boom.
Personally, that sounds shady and I would find another “my LGS”.
Probably saw that they presold you $1000 worth of sealed product for $400.

So if you price out raw cards, or estimate them as PSA 8-9’s on eBay, the boxes typically break even or better?
Sounds like a scratcher lotto ticket that’s always at leasta winner for a free ticket… there’s no reason to quit playing till you hit it big
@tim.Wins yeah the backlog at PSA really screws with things. Obviously there is no guarantee prices hold up 6, 9, or 12 months from now whenever PSA could turn around grading. Expediting the holo zards through with average luck would almost break you even in many cases I think though going off recent auction results.
PSA 10 Evolution Zard is 6,000$+ right now at PWCC and the auction isn’t over yet.

They have 3 up. One is at $6,600, another at $6,400, and then one at $6,300.
I think only 1 in 50 charizards are a PSA 10, but if you break even on most boxes… kind of makes since to try.
