Congrats! The English GS Espeon and Umbreon doesn’t hold a candle to the Japanese holo variants.

Dumb question incoming, short of release method(just assuming that the play promo is not the JP equivalent of the english POP series) whats the difference? Ive noticed english versions are much more available for sale atm.

English copies came in POP packs, and are non-holo.

Japanese had a much more limited distribution as they were never in any packs, and also are holo.

Japanese play promo espeon and umbreon could only be won in play promo tournaments by battling etc. You had to accumulate 50,000 and 70,000 points by doing various tasks in the play promo tournament, it was extremely hard to get to these point values and only had one year to do so (2005.) that’s why you don’t see these cards often now many of them were ever given out
