Hottest trend
A wave of new members introduced themselves across the Welcome Thread, with @emchompite, @Encelouis, @MacsSurfinPikachu, and others all making their forum debuts on the same day.
Highlighted content
- First-timer @Encelouis opened a candid discussion about breaking bad collecting habits — late-night impulse buys, reactive selling, and marketplace FOMO — drawing practical advice from veterans; @hian_43’s tip was a standout:
Whenever you’re feeling like things are becoming unobtainable I think it’s healthy to put aside the devices and just spend 20 mins with the collection you have.
- @martin dropped a spicy take in the unpopular opinions thread, calling the michi binder method “messy” — the community pushed back with measured defenses of the format.
- @explorer shared a side-by-side PSA vs. CGC grading comparison across matched cards, concluding PSA is effectively treating 10s as black-label territory — a frustration echoed by @viridian.
- @highonfire confirmed the Fanatics UK London store is fully operational again, with Fanatics covering shipping and insurance costs to the Oregon vault.
- @Littu launched Round 18 of the legendary elimination poll, with the Gen 3 trio now in the spotlight and Groudon drawing considerable ribbing from the thread.
Collection updates
- @ormly scored a raw Nishida holo at a card show and is now saving toward the Dark Espeon — “Nishida holos are my kryptonite.”
- @doobdoesscyther reached Day 22 of the Scyther collection showcase, spotlighting the 1999 Burger King promo series and its regional variants.
- @DilosDilixiane added several new pieces to the Magmar retrospective collection thread.
- @mathonsunday shared a complete set of English Midori Harada trainer cards — technically not a full binder page, but a complete set worth celebrating.
- @Maractus updated the Maractus collection spreadsheet with a new Non-TCG Merch section, migrating all images to Google Drive for long-term stability.
That’s all for today — Psyduck out, headache pending.
