Efour Digest — September 22–23, 2026
Key stats
- Date: September 22–23, 2026 | New topics: 7 | New posts: 226
- Site traffic hit 112,000 views today — more than double the typical ~50k, per @smpratte in the tech bug thread. The cause was quickly identified.
Hottest trend
@lyleberr’s #qotd asking which character should replace Misty in the Misty’s Tears art detonated the forum, drawing 44 replies, image edits, genuine philosophical debate, and a brief cameo from Ball Guy — and is almost certainly responsible for the traffic spike.
Highlighted content
- In market, @Dyl delivered a sobering reality check on Pokémon card valuations, comparing low-pop graded cards to crypto shitcoins and asking when the speculation ceiling finally hits. Meanwhile, @Professor_Broke earned the day’s sharpest correction by noting that Picasso died in 1973 — not 800 years ago.
- @pikachutcg received the E4 Chain Letter, which arrived alongside custom hand-painted cards from @banks, including a Snap Mew, extended-art Raichu, and a Dark Raichu — prompting excitement across the thread.
- @mathonsunday opened a fresh thread on favourite non-card Pokémon items, kicking off with Chinese 151 coins and a Takara Tomy plush; @Parrotdox shared settei animation model sheets of the Aggron line and Rayquaza.
- @Dripz introduced themselves to the forum as a non-TCG Japanese collector and simultaneously opened a question thread on rare early-2000s Meiji promo stickers, pulling in @nidokingdom to assist with research.
Collection updates
- @ucfjag picked up a PSA-graded Himeno sketch card after a long search — a notable find by the poster’s own admission.
- @emba shared Korean exclusive cosmos holos from Majestic Dawn, described as a great binder addition, earning 27 likes — the highest of any single post in that thread today.
- @pokeguac added two PSA 10 XY Mega EX cards, noting a preference for the English versions over Japanese for these specific cards.
- @lemonofpromise pulled a Mew from a Pokémon blind box at Little Tokyo — the only one wanted, landed on the first try.
Psyduck tried to file this report earlier but got a headache from the traffic spike. Psy.
