Hey all, I purchased a PSA card on Ebay 2 weeks ago. I ordered the card from a neighbouring country. According to the purchase history, it should have been delivered between April 2 and April 6. However, I did not receive the card yet. As a new buyer on Ebay, I am not sure what to do now, because the seller also did not provide any tracking number. Should I contact the seller, open an ‘item not received case’ or wait a little longer?
Just contact the seller and request the tracking number if he sent it with tracking that is.
What countries?
In Europe, Spain and Greece have had very strict postal rulings that only got lifted last week. Italy is always a mess and nothing ever gets there or leave it on time. I have no idea about US-Canada, but I have read on Reddit that delays between those two are also caused by the corona measures.
Do you have a tracking number? What does it say? What status? With a tracking number as buyer you’re pretty save on eBay.
Also… eBay’s estimates are terrible. It will give buyers for me an estimate of 5-10 days when sending to Portugal and Greece, while postal services give minimum 8-14 days.
I am living in the Netherlands and bought it from Germany. Received a notification that the item has been shipped, but the seller did provide any tracking information. Thank you for your answers, will contact the seller first. At what point should I open an ‘item not received’ case, though? Don’t want to the give the seller any unnecessary trouble, but I can imagine that there is a certain expiry date to open a case.
German has post issues since last November, they’re slow with incoming mail. Dunno if still ongoing and also if outgoing mail is affected.
You can open INAD case when estimated shipping day has been reached. But contact seller first. Nothing is certain with mail and corona atm.
Just be patient. Especially in these times we are in. Ebays expected delivery dates are most often wrong anyway. I normally wait one month after the last supposed delivery date before I take any action about missing items, but that means that I almost never have to do anything, luckily.
First, how much was the card and secondly was there tracking? Neighboring countries don mean anything really. I’ll bet I get quicker service to Australia than our neighboring Canada.
I normally recommend waiting a month to a month and a half for any international mail to arrive.
For now @powolski, I’d wait at least 2 months before sweating it. After all, there’s extenuating circumstances these days and the least we should exhibit is a little extra patience.
I had a package from the netherlands to the UK take 4 weeks to arrive recently. just be patient
for the meantime, give another week but do ask for a tracking number.
PSa cards don’t fit properly in a standard envelope. So I’m assuming he did a bubble mailer of some sort which always has tracking. I don’t know if I’m the only one but no tracking on a PSa card even if it’s a common weedle seems off to me. Especially because it can’t fit without tracking like I mentioned. He also could have simply forgot to load tracking info. Does he have real good feedback. Read feedback sometimes there is negative feedback mixed in to the positive feedback
Thank you all for the clear and elaborate answers! Waiting now for the seller to send me tracking details and will be patient in the meantime : )
What is the ebay username of the seller? I’m currently in a similar situation with a seller from Germany and if it’s the same person, I might be able to give you an idea of why there is a delay.
Pm’ed you
