eBay help

So eBay called me this morning because their website glitched and sent the PayPal payment to the wrong email.

Basically I have two emails, one I use for eBay and one I use for PayPal.

They sent it to the eBay email even though I had it set up to my PayPal one.

They said all I have to do is add my other email account to my paypal and the payments will go through. Is this true?

PayPal still has me on hold so I’ll update with whatever they tell me.

Sounds odd to me. You’re doing the right thing calling in to confirm. Let us know how it goes.

Turns out it’s true. You can add an additional email, I was able to do manually it by logging into PayPal. The EBay person told me to do this.

The payments didn’t go through until I called paypal and they cleared them.

PayPal had me on hold for 3 hours though, so seems like they have a ton of issues going on.

Although this was not Paypal’s fault, but eBay’s.

The guy from eBay double checked all my auctions and all but two were set to the correct address. Which oddly enough both ended up selling.
