It’s lame that people try to pawn these off as “color error???” cards, but not gonna lie – this and the sun-damaged Coro Mew I saw earlier this week look… kinda cool. Works way better with the Mew though.

It’s the new pikachu alt art from celebrations that has had the printing removed with acetone.
The back is definitely a modern card.
The error was to try to scam people on eBay.

Apparently it sold and is going through eBay authentication. Hopefully they get it right and deny it cause it’s obviously acetoned.

The amount of fingerprints from holding that card down while wiping the ink of with acetone is astounding.

indeed. I always used gloves when acetoning cards. unfortunately, you really have to throw out the gloves after. Note to any future acetoners, here.

So he sent me about 12 messages on the 3rd saying to cancel the sale but then sent you offers on the 4th
I doubt that someone would go to the effort of hacking his ebay AND instagram just to do this. The fact he bombarded me with messages and threats afterwards makes me think it was him all along, salty because I ignored his first two offers

A different Shining fake sold for $1,498 
Description does state clearly “This product is NEW”

That looks like the same one someone on reddit was asking if it was real or not.
If so, fortunately the seller realizes it and will get their money back. I shudder to think of how many of these cards sell for hundreds or thousands and the clueless buyer doesn’t even question its authenticity when it arrives and gets successfully scammed.

This card sold 4 days ago for $930 on PWCC. Now the seller listed it for $2,750 on eBay.

I love the “No Charizard” almost as much as the “Non-Shadowless” base set cards. Makes searching for cards for my shadowless set pretty annoying.

I used to consistently report browse and search manipulation when I saw bogus results for my searches, but ebay never does anything about it anyways, so I stopped.
