fake 1st edition.
Notice that itās not shadowless like all the first edition base set cards were?
His done a good job ey with that 1st edition stamp lolā¦
and rofl at the prices of the American houseā¦
sigh Iām so far from ever owning property in Australiaā¦
Iāve just bought some 1st edition neo destiny shinings of him, will make sure the 1st edition stamps are legit when i get them
Ah, ok. I saw that it was shadowed, but thought it could be an Australian thing. It was late at night.
No way in hell would I buy anything from someone who does those āGUARENTEED LVL X/SHINING/EX/GOLD STARā lots.
I wish there were a way to get rid of those chance listings. I saw the new mega evolutions of those chance listings where you get a graded card. B-|
I am not at all surprised that that has become a thing. Gotta get rid of those PSA 8 English Full Arts that you got because you have no idea what you are doing, somehow.
He can sell his grandmaās ashes for all i care lol, i dont let feelings get in the way of a good deal
M Rayquaza EX SR reaching $92+? I smell something fishyā¦
That is why the display boxes almost sold immediately from distributors. I sold out of that one several times:
I already posted it in Giant Auction Thread, and yes - itās weird⦠but look at the bid history >.<
I donāt get it why someone will actually bid over $92 when thereās a $67.99 BIN listing up.
I donāt know if this is a shill or just someone in a bid war. The latter does actually happen somewhat frequently. I have listed countless items with lower BIN prices and the bid auction ends higher.
Also, sometimes a person will not buy anything on ebay for a few months, and their first auction back will say, ā100%ā with the current seller. This auction may in fact be a shill bid, but there is no 100% guarantee.
The most obvious shill bid scenario are sellers who adore themselves so much that they use their shill account to leave feedback on their selling account, typically along the lines of, ābest seller in the worldā or other abnormal grandiose statements.
Ultimately, the demand for most cards does the job on its own. I never understood shill bidding as 99% of the in demand items that start at $0.99 do well in auction.

This seller sucks. I should have paid better attention to the negative feedback. Tons of positive, but every negative says no communication. They posted the wrong release date of the item i bought, so i didnt realize it would take a month longer than i thought to get it. Asked for a refund twice, no response for days.
This is about as bad as the illustrator article.

Are any of those cards rare?
Not in the slightest.
But bro, they are āultraā rareā¦
I hate sellers like this. Low price, but insane shipping charges. Seriously?! $230 to ship from Canada to the US?!
Edit: Seems like this seller is doing this with a bunch of their listings. They have a Jungle set which costs $170 to ship, a PSA 10 Charizard FA that costs $80, etc. Iāve reported all the listings.
Edit #2: Hooray for eBay. Theyāve made the seller take down the insane shipping charges!
I am just posting this for awareness of this eBay member: toto92laid
Now I am not trying to name and shame, but this person blatantly told me my product was fake. He accused me of selling fake product at a discounted price in a dishonest fashion. Everyone who knows me knows that I am condition and authenticity obsessed so it isnāt an issue (some of the product in question has since sold and the buyer loved it). However, I just wanted to make a general announcement in case this guy attempts to message you with offers.
EDIT: In case it wasnāt clear, he was trying to buy the product from me at first.
