Turns out deoxys could have had better art throughout its history also weird that even though defense form is perhaps my least favourite of them it may have the best overall card art out of the four

As it is, 3-pack blister Normal forme is probably number 1.

This one’s certainly the most unsetteling to me. I think it hits the sweet spot of threatening alien virus superpredator. Most of its other artworks are to tame for my liking.
On a side note, actual hands look weird on Deoxys.

For me, this is easy. It’s the speed forme from ex-Emerald. I used to own it and remember that the holo and colours were so good in person. I can’t remember why I ever sold it but I keep wanting another.

Second is easily the one that pfm wants to eat. Need to pick one of those up at some point too (unless it’s some stupid expensive Japanese promo…I’ve never checked prices).

There are a few other decent ones in newer eras that I threw a vote too (the Kawayoo art and the Attack Forme SAR) but, like with a lot of these polls, a lot of forgettable CG and average normal cards.

Fun fact: I got a Deoxys in FRLG back in the day with an Action Replay device. It was the first and only code I used and then the (brand new) AR device immediately broke afterwards It was odd too in that the Deoxys always refused to obey commands, even with all badges, but once migrated to a Gen IV game, it was perfectly fine. Weird.

idk about graded, but it’s really cheap raw. it’s similar to some of the other exes from decks in that era.

results are up! pretty respectable overall for the top 10 imo.

going forward, I think i’m going to include an initial poll so we can gauge roughly how many people are participating each time

• it might be something as simple as “do you like the design of (insert pokemon)”.

Not sure which pokemon is next yet. maybe one of the kanto eevees. maybe a mega poll with all three of them at once, but splitting the results similar to how we did the lati twins
