damn wish i used the profits from collectors edition and stuff to buy pokemons back then which are worth not much more now than they were back then 
To give you another sense of how the market was around that time, I was doing trades with people and someone threw in POP 5 Umbreon and Espeon gold star for free…they weren’t mint condition but I was still given them as freebies. Eventually graded them in 2021, Umbreon got a 7 and Espeon got an 8…all came from trade freebies.
