Whoaaaaa, thatâs something special
Received a fantastic secret santa gift fromp LampLamp this morning!
First, an awesome drawing of Metagross + a very thoughtful note. And an insanely cool Pokemon center scarf + hat that I will get a ton of use out of! Itâs just starting to get noticeably cold here, so itâs perfect timing, too.
Also 4 very cool slabs â a really pretty Flareon that Iâd never seen before; the art actually reminds me a lot of the EX-era art style. And then two slabs of the first appearances of Flygon and Salamence, both of which are among my favorite Pokemon of all time and from my favorite set of all time. And then an Aron from Ruby Sapphire â a really underrated art of him, and another classic Gen 3 Pokemon. I will cherish all four of these!
Overall, an extremely generous and thoughtful gift. Thanks so much, LampLamp! And happy holidays to everyone

Next up is a BW full art that I was missing from my collection! I had Plasma Thunderus and Tornadus but not Landorus! Thank you for taking the time to go through my collection threads and see which cards I was missing 
texture is A+.
I had asked for old back Japanese exclusive promos since I barely have any and I am thrilled with this Scizor! Again a new card for my collection

Got this in today from zards_r_us. Iâve never opened modern before, and beginnerâs luck did not favor the bold for trying to open all of them. I have read from everyone here throughout that itâs not like the old days with the 1 in 3 average, and dang it seems they are right. 0 for 8 holos haha. Guess I should avoid the casino for the time being⌠or maybe it is a sign to only ever buy singles for artist hunting⌠But 2 celebrations has 4/4 holos = 8, so it balances

@fivesetgo , Thanks so much!I wasnât expecting anything at all and totally forgot I would be getting a Santa present anytime soon!Love the cards (really like the lati twin promo, hadnât seen those yet!) and the drawing! The figure is something Iâve actually been considering getting myself for some time! It looks really nice but isnât too big youâd need lots of space for it! Loving it a lot!The packs were very exciting but sadly no hits. Which didnât take away from the fun of opening them
Iâm actually having a hard time putting the cards in my collection/binders/⌠, kinda want to keep everything together with the drawing etc. DilemmasâŚ
PS: Thanks for the cookies too, my mother has German roots and they reminded her of her youth. So thanks from her too.

Santa dropped off some seriously amazing stuff! Thank you @slapcorn for these excellent gifts catered to the worldâs biggest Torchic fan 
Not only are these raws a wonderful addition to the binder collection and Torchic Army, but Iâve actually wanted these Constructed Starter Deck coins for quite some time. Iâve been putting it off for awhile and and ecstatic to add these to the shelf! And who doesnât love a good E-Series Dragonite?
Now here comes the kickerâŚ
When I say I was speechless, I mean my jaw almost hit the floor. Slapcorn prefaced the first half of the gift with a note on the box saying âDonât open without other package as well!â and I immediately understood why. Not only is Torchic my favorite Pokemon, I have been in love with watercolor as a medium since I was a kid. My grandmother was an incredibly gifted potter and watercolor artist, but had to give up that passion in order to work full-time and provide for my mother and I. Her health has been on the decline lately, so saying I shed a few tears is quite an understatement. I fell in love with this hobby for a variety of reasons, but my passion and appreciation for TCG artwork can be traced down very easily to her artistic influence in my life. I donât think you can ever understand how happy this made me, @slapcorn.
Slapcornâs sister, whom you can find on Twitch or Instagram under the name Lumalii, was commissioned by him to create this magnificent piece. I highly implore you to check out her other work, and a million thank-yous to the both of you < 3
Now all thatâs left to do is get this beauty in a frame!

I love seeing all of the e4 Secret Santa artwork, no matter how good or bad it is⌠but wow, that Torchic is amazing! Also really liked the custom âChansey energyâ a few days ago. And weâre only just getting started with the Secret Santa posts this year!

I want to thank @imakunizauntie for the very special gift ~ I started opening the box thinking it was something normal I ordered and got hit with a nice surprise. The drawings of Kabutops took me back to my childhood where it was one of my favorite pokemon⌠to draw⌠and maxy drew it (twice!) The personalized touches here were great, but so was ripping a Flareon VMAX from the pack and that Neo Discovery Kabutops which is literally my favorite card from the set. I absolutely love the squirtle from the VHS deck (itâs one of my top 5 sets, but I donât have any card of my own, so itâs perfect.) I also threw the Voltorb, Paras, and Ho-oh into my binders.
Overall a really great secret santa and I canât wait to do it again next year if Western civilization is still standing.
