@kaminoikari So I just got off work from another long 10 hour shift and i seen a huge box at my door! I had a somewhat rough night so I was thrilled! My girl was almost more excited then I was, because I was planning to wait to open it. Possibly on video. But she convinced me to open it. And can I just say I’m stunned at the generosity! I loved the note! Especially the Houndoom and Gloom joke!
My favorite cards are those two Raikou cards! I’ve never even seen these cards before I have to look up the set. I’m horrible with set symbols! It looks like heart gold era possibly! That reverse Luxray is also a sick design and amazing art! The regular rare Tyranitar was another one of my favorites! It would make a really sick holo! I really appreciate the Shiny Rowlet, Metang, and Zorua! The Rowlet is one of my favorite baby Pokemon. Especially out of all the Gen 8 Pokemon.
The Pikachu V tin, Espeon pin Blister, and the 9 pocket pages were just a added bonus. You went above and beyond with just the cards alone. Not to mention you got crushed on shipping cost it looks like! Not to go Houndoom and Gloom again lol.
My girls never opened a Pokemon pack before. I never open them anymore myself. I just buy singles. Last time I opened packs was Hidden Fates. At that time we were still together but this is back when she was mad at me spending money on Pokemon lol. This was also a year ago plus. So we opened packs together. She even did the card trick which she learned from Pokemon opening videos haha. She didn’t pull anything besides a Clefable holo which she still thought was very pretty. Hearing her pronounce the Pokemon names in her baby voice was hilarious! I on the other hand pulled a drop dead gorgeous Centiscortch Vmax! It’s the first time opening sword and shield packs. I’m so excited!
You inspired we to flip thru all my binders about to find new homes for all the new lovely Pokemon! Looking thru my binders I’m shocked at the condition of some of my cards. I convinced myself everything was only 5-7 quality for my first editions. But wow looks like I even have some 9-10 canidates sprinkled in! Back on topic. Thank you so much for your generosity! And merry Christmas! I hope yours and everyone else’s 2021 turns out great!
I love this hobby and I’ll always love Pokemon! I appreciate every card so much! I sit and stare at my collection for hours whenever I go thru them! It’s never a quick process. I was only shocked about condition because I simply appreciate the art! I never worried about exact condition when I was collecting them. Especially with the cheap prices I was paying.

Unfortunately, the Shiny Raikou Holo looks like garbage due to the condition it comes from factory. (its stored poorly with the plasitc casing it comes)

Took my Secret Santa present to my family Christmas today so I could open it there. @smpratte really knocked it out of the park. I loved every part of my present.
First up was one of the Pikachu Christmas Pokemon Center plush that I don’t have yet and have really been wanting; gotta love a Pikachu with a Santa beard - plus a little Marill that made my Fiancée very happy.
Then there were some incredible Pikachu cards, including an ANA Flying Pikachu I needed for my Japanese Pikachu binder, several other beautiful promos, and a sweet SMPratte autograph on my favorite Pikachu art of all time.
Next up was a Pikachu Christmas stocking which I almost bought for myself but ended up deciding to let go, so it made me really happy to see it. And also 10 of the recent Japanese Pikachu 1 card promo packs. Finally a Christmas ornament and an amazing drawing that I will keep forever, I love the Pikachu in a stocking.
Thanks so much for my Christmas present! It was a blast to open. Really happy I got to participate this year and looking forward to doing so again in the future
Duuuude @gottaketchumall came thruuu as my secret santa!!! Im kinda fanboying out cuz im a big fan homies posts on here! So everything here is nuts. Gengar is my favorite Pokemon so clearly these are insane items! I have Gengar, Mew, Totodile, and some others tattooed on me so they hold a special place in my heart. Never seen that Gengar coin which is really sick! I was just yelling the whole time lmaoo tomm ill be opening some packs for xmas so the two phantom forces will be added to the list!! Really exciting stuff and this shows me i have to go much harder next year lol cheers!
When I was a kid, my parents would always let me open up one Christmas gift on Christmas Eve so I decided to open up my gift from my secret santa today. It arrived on December 3rd and I’ve been waiting to open it up! Thank you to @saber for the awesome gift! I’ve been collecting the vending series cards and was ecstatic to see them! The drawing of the Shiny Mew is fantastic! I didn’t know there were so many artistic people on the forum. Makes me feel bad for my child as I’m not the best artist. Thank you so much @saber ! The tiles are from two different Pokemon arcade games. The longer ones are from Pokemon Gaole, I picked them up in Japan. The square ones are from it’s predeccessor, Pokemon Tretta. If you ever make it to Japan and find the arcade machine, the games are basically crazy button mashing with a little bit of strategy, it’s a riot

I didn’t have the Rebel Clash STAFF promo’s yet in my collection and packs are made to be opened, so I opened the sealed items with the following results:
A great letter with a cool Christmas-themed Snorlax VMAX at the bottom was also included. Really well drawn and very original! I’ve never seen a Snorlax like this before, how did I not even think of these earlier
