Thank you so much for the card savers and sleeves I used so many of them you can never have to many! The cards are amazing I have a water type binder I’m going to stick them into. I adore these Japanese promos, I’d never seen the pikachu until today and I love the artwork on it.
I love your drawing too with the Pokémon font really great job
To finish it all off I had some crazy luck with the box.4 hits from 6 packs all were ultra rates! I cannot remember a time before when I have done that well! Getting the Charizard too!

Received my Secret Santa today. I haven’t been able to work out who it was from, but I really enjoyed opening it and it’s actually the best Christmas present(s) I got this year.
Package had the dreaded border control inspection tape on the outside, so I was concerned they had messed up whatever was inside. (Australian Border Control have been known to open up sealed booster boxes/packs when inspecting items). But thankfully nothing was ruined.
The first gift ism a recipe for Fluffy Pika Pancakes, as a bonus they are dairy free which is good because my wife has a milk allergy.
Second we have some excellent Blastoise drawings. I think your kid has real talent.
My secret santa broke their very own complete base set collection to provide me with an Alakazam for my Secret Santa. That’s a real touching gesture and something I personally would never do. I love my boy Alakazam so I was really happy to get these.
The last and most important gift is a bottle of canadian maple syrup. It’s a fantastic gift because I asked for whoever got me as SS to send me something related to where they come from, and I am really pleased to get this. However @reinasierpe knows all too well that I am not a fan of maple syrup…however I am going to try this real legit stuff to make my mind up after all. My SS may be worried and saddened that they sent me something I don’t really like but this is not the case at all. My wife is in love with maple syrup and her eyes lit up when she saw me opening the box. She will be more than willing to take it off my hands if I still don’t like it.
My Secret Santa box arrived just yet. On the outside just a regular box, but on the inside I was first greeted with this amazing Seviper drawing:
Next, I saw the actual inside of the box, which was very festive. It even had some confetti triangles in it.
And here is everything that was in it. One of the tins was sealed, so I opened it. The other tin contained the cards. Oh, and the Expedition deck is of course not sealed either.
Great choice of cards! Seeing those gym promos I might actually have to complete the full set, they look amazing. Love the Santa Jungle Pikachu as well. Thanks a lot for all the gifts, @thane!
I also opened three of the packs (the Generations pack with Pikachu and 20th anniversary symbol I’ll keep sealed). Nothing noteworthy on the pulls unfortunately, but still some great new cards:

The Dewgong and Ponyta are still attached to one another at both corners, so I’ll keep it that way. Some of the others were only attached with one corner, which is pretty normal for these packs I think. But it’s funny to have those two attached to one another.

Japanese Southern Islands (that were on my list???), with the post card!?? With Slowking? Vending Kangaskhan? Another Southern, Lickitung? A no symbol Mr. Mime?? A CLEAN Koga Ditto that you somehow seemed presciently aware that I needed to replace the crappy copy I had in my binder??? Stop, this is too much. There’s also a bunch of 1st ed Jungle cards and other awesome singles in this cool little handheld binder book that I didn’t know existed.
Love the ghost Christmas trio as well, a lot. This end of year was a hard time for me. Someone very dear to me passed away and the holidays were not the same this year, even having been with my family across the country for a time. I dearly thank you for giving me a great thing to be happy about, and warm my heart. The cards are great, fantastic of course, but my favorite thing about this is your personal touch and thoughtfulness. Long live E4.

But please seriously tell me who you are so I know who my person of the year is. I can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful Christmas pile of gifts. Looking forward to finding out who you are!

Sylveon light up terrarium! I have been watching these these for ages but hadn’t bought one yet.
Vaporeon pixel collection plush!! It’s difficult to buy a pokemon plush for me that I don’t already own and would love to have, but this hits the target perfectly. It’s so soft too, and lives on my couch as an adorable decorative pillow.
This latias has been on my watchlist but I hadn’t purchased it yet-- It looks so good in person, especially as a psa 10, such a gorgeous card!
Finally, an original and super amazing drifloon drawing! This is going into a frame for sure, the attention to detail is incredible and I love the unique art work concept!
@silentoaths you absolutely kicked ass for this secret santa-- I cannot thank you enough! These gifts were fantastic and so thoughtful.

They were at the bottom of the box under the gifts.
What an incredible gift–the Alto Mare Latias is like a dream card (to me, at least), and that Starry Night is impeccable. So many great ones this year.
LOL I was wondering where those scissors went @queendrifloon ! Its ok we have a few of them laying around in our home, yours now to keep . You are most welcome. I am glad that all the gifts are unique to your collection as I noticed you already have a impressive one going in your collection thread. BTW the terrorium I noticed is an easy magnet for light surface scratches. I found that I was able to get them all off with ScratchX if any show up in the future. Merry Christmas

A crazy morning! Just received my secret Santa gift all the way from Japan! I was simply blown away opening the package and being met with this awesome drawing of all my favourite Pokémon!
Then going through these amazing cards! I did not already own a single one of these cards and i love every single one of them, Some of them are cards that i have been wanting to get myself from Japan which is amazing & some of them i never knew existed. You have definitely kick started me into collecting more Japanese cards than i usually would have from now on!
Then bam! a Beat Of The Frontier sealed booster pack as well! I am also a sealed booster pack collector and did not have this pack yet so i can not bring myself to open it but i will cherish it in my personal collection
Then comes the heart-warming note
