E4 Secret Santa 2018 [PICTURE THREAD]

I would like to thank my Secret Santa!! I got a box today because I was thinking it was my GX Ultra Shinies or my PSA return with a messed up label lol and then realized it was from E4 .

Mahalo @tentelisano ! This couldn’t have been more perfect as I have been looking at the Boss Pikachu set for awhile but debated on getting it because I am out of room I think in my Pikachu frame lol! Anyways, loved all the cards and have put up Santa-Saur! Oh btw it was the Shining Legends Box w/ Pikachu and all the Boss Pikachu and Mewtwo/Venasaur cards! It is almost creepy how much you knew I needed these cards

Also thinking of my name, hence Rainbow Rocket, you the man!

If you’ve seen the office then surely you know of “Prison Mike”. Maybe that hat can be one piece of your “shady Scott” persona when making the next shade city style video?

I have a truly exciting update regarding my Secret Santa gift!!!

I posted the picture of the Japanese promo PSA Abra a few days ago. For the sake of a complete Secret Santa Post, here it is again:

I was a little confused that there was no drawing and also that it was delivered from Scott since I saw that Scott got Blue for Secret Santa. Then Scott clarified that my Secret Santa actually bought the card from him for Scott to then send it to me so I was sure to get it before Christmas. I was really looking forward to a drawing, but didn’t want express any sort of bah-humbug in such a joyous thread and certainly didn’t want to take away from the appreciation for the promo Abra, because I love it so much!

Then today, this behemoth of a box arrived:

I happened to open the side of the box that had this letter, so I read it before I pulled out what was inside…

Then I removed the bubblewrap and carefully slid this out…

I am seriously speechless. I mean I wasn’t at first, I opened it with my Mother standing there and literally couldn’t stop gasping and expressing how absolutely incredible this is to her.

This is without a doubt one of the best gifts I’ve ever received in my entire life. I know that sounds somewhat dramatic, but it’s true! The amount of effort and talent that went into this is just, amazing, simply amazing. I was nearly brought to tears just for how thoughtful and beautiful this piece of art is and that it was made for me.

Thank you so much, secret santa. I still don’t know who you are as there is no name or username included. I respect your secretiveness, but I almost wish you would reveal who you are , just so that you can get the praise that you deserve.

I cannot thank you enough for both gifts, I love the Abra and I adore this stunning oil painting!!!

So i have a few cards on the way from the states and i am used to waiting for months… Randomly i get a message from a seller over ebay asking if i had gotten the package. I responded saying with Christmas and Australia post even though its in the country it still could be a few more days.

Went and checked the mail today opened the box and first thought i had gotten the wrong order, but then found the ss note Huge thanks to @teraz !(now the ebay messages make sense haha) Nailed my gifts mate thank you!

Got the purchase also but will show him off in the collection thread

Sure enough checked the gengar artwork and no crosses in the english card…

My secret santa gift has arrived!

To start, the drawing is epic! It reminds me of Dark Charizard (most nostalgic to me) with the eyes looking back at you. Also, the Gastly on the tail is a very clever idea and nice touch to the drawing. I’m going to find a place to keep this is my office.

Next, this Korean Charmander to Charizard evolution line, Charizard EX and Mewtwo were included. I’m glad this was included because it adds some diversity to my collection whereas I usually only collect English and Japanese. The cards look great, are in mint condition and the Charizard is apparently tough to pull. I’ll find a spot for them in my binder or a nice way to display outside of a binder.

Lastly, I will have to find out more information on what I believe to be a Charizard GX deck. I haven’t opened it and want to look it up before I do. I’ve also never seen these cases and hope to find a way to use them to display cards around my office.

This is my first year participating and I’m very grateful for the gifts I received. Thank you @maverick75, I really appreciate the gifts and hope you have a great holiday!

I asked my SS to get some choc/candy from their homeland and I have to say I have never had Reese’s choc before and these things are freaking awesome! Super rich but so dang nice, we don’t have anything like this in Australia so thank you for sharing those!

Finally shoutout to your friend Mari for doing this art piece tell her that it will remain in the Shizzle halls with all the rarest and coveted Shizzle Gyarados Collection™ items for all of eternity

My biggest reaction from your Secret Santa Post… You don’t have Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Trees in Australia?? You’re really missing-out in the “land down under” - Reese’s are definitely my FAVORITE Candy! How can’t anyone not like Chocolate and Peanut Butter mixed together?
