I threw mine away about halve a year ago when I’ve cleaned my room… Should have made some pictures, or keep the best ones… Ah well.
As a kid (starting at 8 yo and ended at around 13) I drew all 151 first gen Pokémon, as well as most of the gen 2, and a bunch of the other gens (the easy ones, or the ones I liked). With some of the harder ones I had help from my uncle or granddad though. I remember especially having a lot of trouble with Gyarados and Venusaur.
I do still have the painting below, which was a collaboration of my granddad and me. I drew the Steelix based on the New Genesis card, and my granddad painted it when he got home (although he forgot the colors it had, so he just used his own imagination ):
I haven’t drawn in more than a decade… Except for the Secret Santa a few months back. Too much other hobbies, which I already have too little time for…
Not my best work, was a rushed job for the first ever E4 Christmas secret santa. I gave this to Thorgene; He is Vietnamese, so i gave Pikachu a sriracha sauce making Banh minh.
I sometimes like to do marvel comic style artworks, but my main field was surrealism and sketch work when i was in high school. Studied art 1 year at university, but changed because it was going nowhere, and felt it would be hard to make a career out of it.
Below is some marvel stuff, alot is unfinished… z.z
Here is Marvel universe HULK 2099, this is the futuristic Hulk:
Venom.
Deadpool didn’t finish it… had so much more work to do… and i screwed the angle of his sword badly lol:
Those are the last Pokémon drawing I made (yes, in 2015, it is old…).
They are interesting because they are drawn directly with a black pen, so you have to be careful (there are some big mistakes) ^^
@kkthxbai Drawn & edited in photoshop but not drawn as in from scratch just the bits that extend the artwork, bit of clone tool kung fu and Bob’s your uncle
Thanks! Using sketchable on my surface pro. Warming up so I can eventually get into Illustrator. I’m designing and selling pins as my new side business
