It’s been out for a few weeks and I haven’t seen much discussion on the Double Blaze expansion. I just watched maxmoefoe’s opening and I was absolutely blown away by the amount of quality artwork in this set. It’s not even just the chase cards either, even the commons and uncommons are amazing. I haven’t felt this way about the artwork of a set since before D/P. What do you guys think?

Really good looking box art.
Except for Giovannis and Red’s FA, which I will purchase eventually, I not that excited about this expansion.
Althoug there are a couple of cards that are incredible, like this one:
Furthermore, I really love the box that has the sleeves and deck box of Gionanii. Really good looking!

I just opened a box last week and I can confirm the set is full of great art from commons to ultra rares. This is a good one 
Also I’m loving how Pokemon has stepped up with the art game during SM era. I feel like they have started to listen what fans want.
Now I wish they’ll put hand drawn artwork on normal GX cards too and not only on the Tag Team ones.

To be honest, the Rhydon illustration looks like it’s halfway done and none of the feet line up properly with the floor. The other artwork looks good.
Welp, can’t unsee that now haha. I feel like that’d be such a minor change, I wonder why they left it like that.
You are right, I do love those card. I already have a copy of the Rydhon. =) However, I havent paid enough attention to the Porygon 2! Really good artwork!

Let’s cross our fingers for the next set not being tag team then haha. I feel like they’re going to keep doing tag team until the sword and shield base set.

I have a lot of cards in my extra-side collection. I just love the art so I don’t mind not being able to read them. …But if it’s an Eevee, I need them all!!!

Great art in this set. But again fail to see how it holds up financially in the near future due to silly amounts of printing (atleast in English).
No argument there, this set is strictly for the art collectors. The Charizard/reshiram cards will probably have a very slow growth, but nothing significant.
I thought it would be nice to open a box on video. I thought.
Turns out, that the quality is way worse than I thought it would be. Way worse.
But after I recorded it already, posting it is only logical (or not).
I think that my slurred English and charm make this video an enjoyable experience.
My suggestion: mute the video and leave the room for 14 minutes.
I also discovered two new Pokemon: Wigglypuff and Politail
Apparently I like the word “nice”.
Regarding the Set: I really like it.
e: Don’t ask me, why I used the old Cam (JVC GC-FM2BEU), that I used to record birds in the garden with. And not my new Cam (PANASONIC HC-V180) that I apparently bought last year…
