I was looking at this card online and wondering if it was real before going further (I know the condition is not the best but that makes it cheaper and with expensive cards that is not that bad)

Card looks authentic.
I don’t know the details of % saved by going MP on a modern card. It would be tough to sell this card in the future if you upgrade later on or change your collection goals.
I would favor a LP card or a NM Chinese or Japanese card if you are looking for the card at a lower price point.

In any other case I think you are right, the condition wouldn´t help that much take the price down, while a Chinese or Japanese copy would be like half the price of an English one.
The thing in this particular case is that the seller only ships within his country (same as mine obiously) and since the market here is not that big as in other places I might get a nice deal here.
