Do you recommend grading booster packs?

Considering there are graded sealed video games, it certainly isn’t out of the realm of possibility, however silly it may end up being, lol. Let’s think of the consequences of this if it indeed became a thing.

  • Damaged booster boxes would probably lose a lot of value compared to their “mint counterparts”.
  • Sending out your boxes in crates to PSA because of how you’d need to protect them.
  • We probably wouldn’t have a thread on how booster box collections can be stored.
  • Perfect fit sleeves for PSA graded booster boxes, because we gotta protect the case now!

I don’t see any of those things as a bad thing. Ultimately I just want my booster boxes protected to within an inch of not being able to see Oxygen again.

I would love to see youtube guide “How to crack PSA booster box holder”. Oh the pain…

I’ve NEVER graded a pack and don’t plan to. I just keep them stored in old Wizards of the Coast Booster Boxes and tins.

hermetically sealed

Maybe tape it down inside the slab?

Well Gary knows best. Let’s all email PSA NOW!

still no decent pack and booster box grading business out there? i would love to see that. folding packs like psa does is ridiculous and boxes need to be protected too.

I agree, I see graded pokemon packs as damaged and actually value them below a raw pack

Maybe they could just tape the flaps back, then seal the case :^)

But forreal, I’ve never personally seen the appeal of graded packs. The pushed back flaps reeeeeally puts me off.
