I always through Steelix and Onix were based on worms instead of snakes, but I guess I was mistaken. The Japanese/Chinese names of Onix are even based on the words ‘rock’ and ‘snake’ apparently. Didn’t think I would learn something from this thread, but I just did, rofl.
