Are amazing rares harder to pull than the secret rates?
In Japanese they’re one per box, so I’m guessing they’ll be on a par with secret rares in our English set.
I’m actually now more excited for the SS 3.5 holiday set that will follow it because of the amount of people opening legendary heartbeat and seeing the new amazing rares. I’ll still get a bit of darkness ablaze though.
the amazing rares look really good. i’m a big color guy, so those splashy/flashy colors really suit my tastes. are they going to be japanese exclusives? will english release them?

I don’t think the Darkness Ablaze has the amazing rares. Those are currently in Japanese Legendary Heartbeat, which might come out over the holidays as a different set. (this is my understanding at least).
I totally agree that those amazing rares are niiiiiiiiiiiice. I want them all.

So now it seems we are getting a vmax charizard promo box as well a month after release? Still sad it’s not a rainbow rare pull or a vmax FA pull from the set itself, but at least it is something

I know we’re getting the Charizard V FA in the holiday Set ETB, was there a VMAX product I missed?
The ETB for the Holiday 2020 set has the image of VMAX Charizard on the box. The promo inside is the FA Charizard so the assumption is that VMAX Charizard will be in the set as he seems to be the 'main mascot.
I think I misinterpreted “Charizard VMax Promo Box” as that a product got revealed with a Charizard VMax promo in the box, not just Charizard VMax art on the box.
I started collecting early wotc only.
Now I have love for every set.
I just got back into Pokemon and Legendary Heartbeats will be the first boxes i open and Darkness Ablaze will be the second. Looks like a pretty solid lineup.
do you guys know what the pull rate is for the amazing rares in the Heartbeat set? around 1 to 2 per box?

Awesome. I assume you got your box from Japan? How is the shipping time these days? I am looking to get a few boxes or just straight up buy the cards, but I haven’t bought anything from Japan during the pandemic.
I’ll let you know when I get it. Supposed to be 3 day shipping, but we’ll see.

I jumped on this box pretty early and ended up opening five so far, been consistent with one amazing rare pull and one secret rare per box for me, but its still a small sample size. Shipping for me took about a week and a half, they used DHL From what I recall.
Concerning the post, I am super excited for Darkness Ablaze, I am excited they are giving some love to Houndoom and Butterfree!
