I havent reached out to the seller yet, but the two routes I see are:
Just send back to seller for a refund
Get a partial refund to cover cost to reholder + maybe some extra as a hassle cost
The damage is above the card, but it doesnt look like there is any damage above the card there, nor can you feel the crack with a finger nail which I think is a good sign.
My one dilema is, which is where I want the second opinion, is since its above the card PSA will check to ensure to check for damage.
I did notice what looks like a crease in the corner here. I doubt the type of damage to the case would have caused this which makes me think it was there at grading:
Get a refund. If I bought a new Speedmaster or a Datejust, and it comes with a scratch on the dome or on the bracelet, then the AD better replace it. You paid with your hard earned money, you deserve to receive the best of what you paid for.
If this was not advertised, and in fact shown NOT cracked in the listings, definitely refund and return. The reholder might not be an option since it’s right over the card… (My preference)
BUT You could keep it for a partial refund if it was already a good deal, and set it back for years if you’re looking to invest… I did that with several Gem WotC, but that depends on your situation.
