For my nephews birthday I was thinking it would be cool to commission an artist and make him his own ‘trainer card’ (with an illustration of himself and his favorite Pokemon) and get a bunch of copies printed so he can give them to his friends.
I’d like to make it look as ‘authentic’ as possible. Printed on card stock etc.
I don’t know if this is possible (or how much it would cost) but I’ve seen many “proxy” cards with fan art that look pretty legit and I’m assuming they aren’t hand crafted 1/1 pieces.
Does anyone have insight as to how these are made? Services used, cost etc.

I bookmarked this website, since it was highly recommended by people on various subreddit (I’ve never tried it).
From what I’ve heard though, you have to use a different -unofficial- back and remove every copyright text like Pokemon, Nintendo or Wotc. Otherwise, they will probably refuse to print your custom card
