Creating a 'my collection' post

I want to make a start on a ‘MarkySharky’s X Collection’ style post/thread and wanted to check if there was a how to guide or general best practice for doing so?

My personal opinion, it is your thread through and through. Just do what you feel you like and think showcases your collection the best way possible. I always like to read some personal stories about people with regards to how they got about getting the card for their collection. Some really focus on the picture aspect of it which really highlights the beauty of the card. Some will do both. I know you have just started your journey, so maybe you can share some feelings about your collection journey so far and your experiences in collecting. But it is still a personal preference.

Other than that, you can always edit and always change, always improve on how you feel you want to display your collection. Just make it your own and the rest of us are here to appreciate and like your thread.

You can also go through this thread and see what resonates with you the best. Maybe you will get some great ideas and reference points looking at others collections.

Looking forward to your thread.

Cheers!

Much appreciated! I’ll give it a go.

If I’ve understood correctly the difference between the “Collection” or “My Collection”, personally I’m happy with the “Collection” type of thread/post as, even if it’s a little bit more messy as a normal discussion thread, I find it easier to engage a conversation with other users.

Also I appreciate who is able to frequently update the OP and keep track of the various update of the collection in one post.

Yeah I like seeing the updated OP as well personally and that was my intention too. I think I’m going to start a ‘place holder’ sort of thing to get me going then update it over time.
