Complete List of ex Era Serial Code Numbers

I’ve transferred the data over from the old spreadsheet since I no longer have access to edit it. This one can be printed as a checklist for anyone looking to complete the code variations. The missing codes were added as were the rules for how the codes are assigned for each set. I went through the other languages and found several exceptions, which are also listed.

I will be working on Japanese eventually, but this is a lot of work as is, so it will likely take months. If anyone would like to contribute, please let me know!

Hi. I’d be interested in helping out with this project, especially on the Japanese/Korean side as that’s my main niche. I was searching for this information for an app I’m working on and am happy to contribute as I do so.

The Japanese spreadsheet linked in this one was set to private, and I’ve just requested access!

I just gave you access to edit and changed it so everyone can view it!

Awesome! I’ll dig in.

Im slowly working on getting all the cards with unique variations. These also follow a similar pattern to English where once you know one code, you can figure out the others for that card. For example, a card ending in 0UU will always have the same 4 code variations. So once I’ve found all the unique combinations, it will be much easier to fill in the blanks.

I’m also skipping Ruby and Sapphire because I want to wait until I know the Korean codes. I’d like to have all the Korean codes be placed in the first spot. If anyone has cards from that set, I’d love some pictures or help filling in the codes.

Oh, I didn’t notice that pattern of repeating sets of codes  That’s actually really helpful and will definitely cut down on time.

Just looked at the sheet and it looks like it carries through different sets too! I’ve been working on Rocket Gang Strikes Back and have noted the HTD, 6QG, 4NK, 4PY set (see Rocket Mareep) that can fill in the blank/missing code for your Miracle of the Desert Natu! I filled in that one and the missing code for the Lotad too (with matching code set with Rocket Swinub).

I’m working on filling in the codes by set and will probably fan out from Rocket Gang Strikes Back.

Fantastic, thanks for the help! I’m trying to keep them alphabetical too, but no worries if you didn’t do any of that. It’s for my own personal preference haha

Oh yeah, I didn’t do that  I just entered them in as I was finding them. I can clean up mine for the Rocket set and do it in alphabetical order moving forward.

Also, now that I know the codes are repeating, I’m making a small automated sheet in Excel that should hopefully be able to search for a set of known code suffixes (the last 3 digits) and spit back out the full set of codes if you provide the code prefix (first 6 digits) and just one code suffix. I can send it over to you if you’d like (if it works).

That sounds great!

@tonysandlin I don’t have the full Korean ADV set, but can give you codes / pictures for 40 out of the 50 cards … from pulling multiples of some cards, pretty certain there’s only one code for each.

There are some varients in the theme decks though !

Oh i wasn’t aware the theme decks have variants. That’s very interesting. I need to double check that it isn’t the case in Japanese too. If you don’t mind, I’d only need images of the commons and uncommons since the rares and holos should be identical to Japanese.

I think the Excel sheet works! I’ll DM you a link to download it. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s helpful.

Looking through the cards I have yet to verify, the only ones I’d need pictures of are:
Shroomish, Wingull, Kirlia, Phanpy, Makuhita, Zigzagoon, Slakoth, Skitty, Aron, PokeNav, Lady Outing, Professor Birch, and Oran Berry.

Shroomish: V5U-SQJ-YG3
Wingull: CUC-LPE-GF6
Kirlia: 53J-HS0-TRG
Phanphy: JRT-3JZ-YG3
Makuhita: 8YQ-N1U-D0P
Zigzagoon: CL4-L4Y-0MF
Slakoth: P61-SUJ-USB
Skitty: STR-T1F-2SB
Aaron: FMX-VL2-FL6
Pokenav: NW2-A7Y-3V3
Lady’s Outing: F5G-2T5-8AG
Prof. Birch: X0T-HQB-P6Z
Orange Berry: P8P-KN8-HGL

Some codes are hard to read even by eye with the card in hand as they blend in to the background, but here they are as best as I can establish.

thanks for all of this! It would appear that the Korean cards have a unique code!

Don’t mean to bother you about it, but since these are different from their Japanese counterparts, I’d actually need to catalogue the rest of the cards from the set. If you’d be willing to either send pictures or type them up, I’d appreciate it. I can also make you an editor to the excel sheet if you wanted to do it directly there.

Not a problem, thought that may be the case.

If you do want to make me an editor then I’m more than happy to add the codes in.

Photos would take quite a bit of time, so I wouldn’t rush to do it. but I can eventually if you really need them.

I appreciate it! Pictures won’t be necessary then. Here is the link. If you request access I’ll approve it. Otherwise you can dm me your email and I can add you directly.

I found an additional serial number for Chinchou 50/192. The card I have states: S3S-BT8-13L.

Also, thanks so much for creating this as it’s been super helpful and I really appreciate it!
