I dream of one day going to Japan and walk into a shop like that and just grab everything lol. Such a shame they don’t exist in the states… at least not like they did in the 90s
That video made me facepalm so hard. He has called the no-rarity Charizard a “Promo Charizard” but also a “not-for-sale Charizard”. Not for sale as it was an example at the shop showing the difference between the regular one with rarity and the no rarity .__. It’s funny (read: annoying) when he also states things like Charizard is the “rarest” card of the Base Set. Dude, the odds of pulling a Charizard from a Base Set pack are the same as getting any other holo card…
I’m subscribed to him and used to like his content in the past but these days there is always something on his videos that makes me cringe a lot. Everything is like one of a kind and so rare and so expensive. Another very cringe worthy video is about the golden Pikachu if you haven’t seen it
Man this guy needs to seriously do some homework. How can you call yourself a collector when you don’t even know what a fan club porygon is? Nevermind that, he didn’t even know what the kamex Computer Error or what the victory ring pikachu was. His exchange rates were off (likely for simplicity, hopefully) and he called the no rarity charizard a promo.
Well this is the same guy who opened nearly half a box triangle base set backs before noticing. He is litteratly wrong on everything that comes out of his mouth. …ok I’m done. Smh.
I think that as a video maker he knows what audience he wants to reach and does so quite successfully, you can’t say he doesn’t. He doesn’t know much about pokemon cards though… His facts do really bother me however as he is constantly spreading misinformation on prices, rarity and just hyping stuff up. People who are listening either know what he said isn’t true or will blindly follow what he says and so won’t question anything as non factual and as a result potentially lose money.
I never really cared much for his videos and over the top reactions but I can’t deny he is somewhat entertaining and gets people interested in the hobby, so more power to him.
Haha I got into arguments withy the children on his comments because everyone was saying they had the Kamex trophy, And stuff like that. This is what’s wrong with spreading misinformation to young kids. And why he needs to learn more about the tcg (obviously he doesn’t have to because he’s making loads off hype vids) but it angers me because I used to enjoy his content but now it’s hard to watch. Also he said that the common e series McDonald’s pack was worth 100$+ and he opened a cube of holos where he said everything was worth much more then it was worth… Wonder if this is where all of these people on ebay get there information for pricing haha. Anyways ando seems like a nice guy to be around though.
I feel like like he needs to get invited into joining this forum. Doing so can enlighten his knowledge on the TCG wether vintage and/or new. Furthermore help prevent more false information from being spread. Also It can bring the forums horizon closer to even more collectors hence strengthening the hobby.
I dream of having a nice house with a secret doorway like yours, and some trophy cards.
I can walk to these stores and have visited many, it is fun and exciting
But it will get boring when you realise everything is played, or damaged, sometimes you may occasionally find good deals, and it’s a little cheaper than ebay " sometimes…" but it is not easy to find the gems everyone wants.
