Price is what you pay, value is what you receive. I was wondering what value you guys find in the Champions Festival sealed worlds cards relative to the price they are going for ($400-$900) depending on the year.
Thanks in advance!

a little pricey if you ask me. they are exclusive but the packs contain one english card and the rest are foreign. Since I don’t care about getting a Spanish Champions Festival card, the only real value from it is the english card. Placement cards seem like the better buy. A top 32 card would have had to be won by a player, so you have exclusivity + trophy type card + extremely limited print + people who won it would have had wanted to sell it to collectors (or it just never entered the 2nd hand market).
Great cards overall, but I feel like the lower end of the range is a better price imo.
Thankfully the Japanese copies inside are the same price if not usually more expensive than the English ones already. Also the other “foreign” cards are getting scarcer as well now, probably since many people just want all the artworks in the cheapest way possible. So, if you have a 300$ EN and a 300$ JP + the other languages at 40-100$ each… pack prices seem fair enough!
I completely agree on getting a top 32 or even more exclusive card when possible. A lot of the asking prices are pretty high and I am wanting to wait for an auction or something where I can get them a little cheaper. SMPratte has one of my favorite artworks, the 2016 champions festival FINALIST. That will be my hunt card for the next few years, but as a broke grad student, I won’t be able to buy one for a long time haha
Thanks for the input both @raichuevo97, @burnedos,
