I think these are some remarkably appealing cards in a while:
To be honest every card in the set is pure quality(collecting wise). A straight reprint would’ve been boring for some people, emphasis on some. So this mixture of old school artwork and new card template is a nice idea, IMO.
I really like how they reuse the artwork with the new layout and backgrounds. A good balance between the old and the new.
It would be cool to see a jungle or fossil theme similar to this release. Have a mix of the old and new pokemon. Jungle Exeggucte, Exeggutor with an Alolan Exeggutor.
@budget - The problem with that is there’s only give or take three cards here that’ll see play (mostly copycat). A lot of possible combinations already exist in other, better forms too. And this is just personal opinion, but aside from maybe rev holos there’s no real collection value in the set for me. Hopefully there’ll be interesting secret rares added in that’ll get my attention.
These FA Trainers are looking nice.
I wish they would make some FA GXs unique like this. Miss the BW and XY series full arts a bit.
