Came with some cards I wholesaled from my friend. Since you bring it up, what would be market value on a set of no rarity cards?
If they are Nm/mint you should grade them and sell them as the most pristine set available. You could go way over that last sale.
Of course it depends what he means by near mint. In Psa standards what most throw around as near mint might be more like Psa 6 or 7. At that point is it worth it? If they truly are 8 or 9 then ya that would be amazing.
Next time I’m in Japan if I can find those sets cheaper, I’m buying them. I’m also going to get some Japanese Pokemon prototypes. I’ll be sure to post some photos! If anyone knows what prototypes would be awesome to see, shoot out some ideas. I may pick it up.

As for the “No-rarity Gastly”. As @pokemontrader said, it’s just a regular theme deck Gastly from one of the Gym sets and doesn’t hold any value. All theme deck cards don’t have rarity symbols and are very common. The No-rarity cards that everyone speaks of which do hold value are those from the base set which are considered a 1st edition of sorts.

So, I’m at a stalemate on my Pokemon collection. I’m probably going to downsize. My dbz and Pokemon collecting has left me with thousands of duplicates (mainly dbz). With that money I could buy Pokemon cards. If you think about collecting Pokemon cards, there is always another one to own. My dilemma, I am within the finish line on dbz cards. Basically I need less than 50 and I would have every trading card.
I’m not sure if I can manage finding the cards I need for dbz. Pokemon you can locate the cards with a little more ease. It’s hard to say what is worth it.
Since you are so close with DBZ, maybe you could focus on that.
I would hate to sway you from collecting Pokemon (since we all love it), but that is what I would do!
What DBZ cards do you need? I doubt I have them, but I don’t even know what my cards are worth but that there are some special cards in my collection. I was really into dbz card game (score) for a while, and bought other types of dbz cards, but it didn’t stick as good as DBZ figures did. There are still dbz figures I want from as far back as 1993 or so, and some that are still being made (like all new Trunks figures!).

Well that’s the my problem. I would like to complete it. The reason it’s a dilemma, I can’t find the cards. I waited 4 years to buy one card, just to get outbid on a already crazy price. I have the same problem with booster boxes. 6 years still haven’t found 3 boxes I need. It’s almost like Pokemon, impossible to have everything.
