2009-2012 must have been a weird time for Pokémon collectors. Was talking about this today with my girlfriend. She bought me a HGSS booster because it was so cheap. We talked about how awesome some artworks look but how oversaturated the market must have been during that time. I remember buying some booster boxes back then even though I wasn’t much into the TCG but they were so dirt cheap on amazon.

I forgot I bought the Japanese version and then I bought the English version.
This is my first Skyridge Holo, then I atleast got 1.

I had no idea that the holo was much darker on the Japanese!

Love these 3 artworks from Ex Dragon.
Feel like the set is overlooked, so I managed to get 5 out 6 versions.

It’s indeed the 2010 Pikachu World Set. The first Pikachu World Set (with the gold Pikachu tail stamp at the left of the cards) was released in 2000.

Sorry for the people who don’t like music you can mute the audio, but I can’t get it all in 1 picture and make it look clear.
But here are all the Totodile & Chikorita cards I recently bought for cheaps, because I wanted the Pikachu.
According to some guy on Ebay called Smpratte I got a steal, based on what he is asking for the sealed box

As for the Pikachu World it also comes in Green, only difference is the Japanese Pikachu being green instead of blue.

I’m very happy that they are broadcasting the first season here with the Dutch voiceovers.
And look Pikachu aint that fat at all, just felt like sharing this.
Team Rocket also looks way better, I like the Sun & Moon tv series but they look to Japanese now.

Too japanese? XD I mean… the kanto and johto region ARE based on regions of japan, and originally these are characters with japanese names, in japan… in a series made in japan, by japanese people… it would make complete sense for them to look japanese, since they ARE japanese XD

Not sure if it’s holo bleed or meant to cover the Pikachu’s.

The stars are meant to cover the entire card. At least, all mine are the same (including all other Japanese Full Art cosplay Pikachus, like the Charizards, Rayquazas, Mario/Luigi, Villainous, etc.)
