Hello again! As always an introduction: if you don’t know me, I’m part of the staff of TCGCollector and I’m currently going over all of the japanese cards. I stumbled upon the set Master Deck Build Box EX (MDB).
I tried to search far and wide for any videos and articles regarding this product because I have a suspicion… Unlike other scans of the cards that kind of show the holo of the cards, these ones don’t! These were sourced from the official japanese website, by the way. This leads me to belive that cards that would otherwise be holo, aren’t - such as Mewtwo EX, Darkrai EX and Rayquaza EX.
There’s also the possibility that both variants exist in the product and the scans just show the non-holo ones.
Since these ones are popular Pokémon, I’m betting one of you species collectors have some info regarding this issue! If you can also share pictures, I’d appreciate it!
I should say I’m very inclined to think there exist non-holo variants of the cards, just because of previous experiences with similar scans, but I’m curious if Holo variants of the cards exist.
