I just opened a “Happy combo” and saw that there are cards with numbered stamps in two of the decks. Are those numbered cards always the same and is the number bound to the card, @Maplesss? Or is the order random? Really would like some insight into this.
theres a player manual in box, the number on card is actually for teaching new player order of playing which card first with assist of the manual, its not random
Oh, thank you very much.
So this would mean that a card with a numbered stamp could also appear as a foil version??
For those cards there would be 3 variants then:
a regular stamped version
a holo stamped version
a holo numbered stamped version
Did you ever manage to pull a holo deck, @Maplesss, I am a bit at a loss finding the holo version of Starmie. I don’t know where to look for those Chinese cards, cardmarket.com does not have them.
Out of the 4 decks, 2 decks in each box have both regular stamps AND number stamps (the numbers will always be the same). Those cards are always on the back of the deck and are used to teach new players the turn-by-turn playstyle. That means that some of the cards in those decks have 2 variations, like this:
This means that the unnumbered decks can have 2 total card variants (regular stamp, regular stamp holo) and numbered decks can have 4 total card variants (regular stamp, number stamp, regular stamp holo, number stamp holo)
A preview of what the deck looks like when unboxed can be found HERE.
I was part of the conversation in the discord trying to find these numbers. I’ll add in the detail that all the missing numbers are filled by Trainers and Energies.
I personally am yet to see an image example, but it was shared by @rabby250 that, “some of them were already revealed in the official app’s card list.”
I got all cards of the Blue (CSVH2C): Lucario & Greninja & Zamazenta & Mabosstiff decks. Could provide photos of the regular versions and the stamped ones if needed. Just let me know.
The official card list has all holo variants of the same card listed separately, so for these sets all cards are listed at least twice, one regular and one reverse:
And as you can see in the screenshot, Keldeo and Lapras (which only printed with numbered stamps) have numbered stamps shown on both of their variants, so as long as you consider the official card list correct you can expect cards with numbered stamp to have holo variants.
Unfortunately as you can see from the Scyther card in the screenshot, stamp numbers don’t seem to be significant enough to warrant a separate listing, so for cards with both numbered and unnumbered stamps you’ll still need someone who pulled the deck to show you the actual card.
I have already ordered a reverse holo deck, but it will take a bunch of time to get to me. Once it’s here, I will (hopefully) confirm the reverse holo number stamp.
Your video also shows numbered stamps for items and energies and such… This is such a pain…
Do you know the numbers for every card? Do you @Puchiko ?
I added this set today to TCG Collector, so if anyone has any information about all numbered stamped variants, I would appreciate if you report them :’)
Also @rabby250 , are the cards with numbered stamp scans really only available with those numbers?
Thanks for adding those! I am actually tracking my Scyther collection in TCG Collector, so I’m really happy to help with information about the set . The cards only exist in a specific order, so the numbers would always be the same for every deck.
