Can't verify Beckett Serial Number

Hello dear community.
I was planing to buy a BGS card on ebay but when I tried to verify the serial number on Beckett website, I got a message telling me “No Record Found”.
Can someone explain me why I can’t find the card ?
Thanks :confounded:

My top guesses:

  1. Check the number of digits on a BGS card, and compare it to his. Is it missing any number? If it is, perhaps they shopped out/blur some numbers out.

  2. Temporary website glitch.

  3. Card’s a fake.

I own several MTG BGS cards and by chance some of them don´t show up on the search from time to time. I remember wondering roughly 1 year ago that a card of mine didn´t show up and forgot about it for the longest time until I typed every card of mine into the system and voilá it was suddenly there again. I found the website glitching sometimes so this would be my guess. If you have really nice fotos of all angles of the case I highly doubt that it´s a fake as I have never seen any kind of convincing bgs case fake. Did you make sure that the seller didn´t mess around with any program to manipulate the serial number in the listing to hide it?

Ok thanks @nuttun ,.
I think I was on the wrong website, I finally found the card with his correct serial number.
I guess we can close this post
